He specialises in bankruptcy and restructuring law as well as civil and enforcement proceedings. He has experience in representing clients in civil and business cases as well as administrative and court-and-administrative proceedings. Moreover, he participated in a number of transactions involving real estate acquisition and development. At Zimmerman Sierakowski i Partnerzy he leads a team dedicated to court and administrative proceedings and enforcement proceedings.
Bartosz Sierakowski provides training in bankruptcy, restructuring and enforcement law to entrepreneurs and financial institutions. He teaches restructuring and bankruptcy law at postgraduate courses at the Lazarski University in Warsaw. He has penned a number of articles discussing bankruptcy and restructuring law, as well as legal aspects of reprivatisation. His articles are published in specialist magazines such as Monitor Prawa Bankowego or Doradca Restrukturyzacyjny; he also serves as an expert for the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily and the TVN Biznes i Świat TV programme. Co-author of practical commentary to the Restructuring Law (commentary issued periodically by DGP – Firma i Prawo) and of a publication titled “Wzory pism procesowych i sądowych w postępowaniu restrukturyzacyjnym” [Model Procedural and Court Documents in Reorganisation Proceedings] (Warsaw 2016).
Bartosz Sierakowski graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. From 2007 to 2009 he worked for the Dr Krystian Ziemski & Partners Law Firm, and then for the Firm of the Legal Adviser Tomasz Wierzowiecki. In 2010–2011 he was employed as a lawyer in the Department of Real Property and Construction Investment the Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak law firm. Since 2011 he has been working for Zimmerman Sierakowski Frosztęga.
He has an excellent command of English.
